WHO WE ARE

Welcome to

CANTIERE ORVIETO

Aware

of the city’s past – geology, archaeology, art and landscape, architecture, city planning.

In Hope

of a future for this city where every day holds something new and exciting

Convinced

and Hopeful that individual and collective responsibility can encourage a rebirth of confidence and a passion for participation.

We hope to do more, as promoters of initiatives that can make our city come alive, that can give a soul, vigour and voice to a city meant to play a leading role, by proposing possible solutions to the current critical aspects the downplay the value of our city.

A RESPONSABLE COMMUNITY

If we hope to bring people back into the piazzas, render the streets, houses and the city as a whole active and alive, we must first recover that confidence and participative passion that is an essential factor in the lifeblood of the city and its territory. Everyone must do their part in looking to the future and shaking off the impasse, from the Administration to the civic and religious institutions, from the economic operators to the network of associations, and the individual citizens.

Let everyone be involved in the future vision of the city, fervently hoped for, let them come forward and show they are ready and willing to do their part, and listen with an open mind. Let’s take care of this cultural heritage of ours, which embraces history, nature, art and excellences of all kinds. Let’s make this our new power; let’s think up new experiences and ways to give Orvieto the leading role it once had. Let’s open a new Cantiere (work yard) to leave as inheritance for future generations.
